  2.         ■ Adjust pedigree
  3.  
  4.         Use this option to alter current pedigree data or create new
  5.     data (by adding members). Every individual must have a unique ID,
  6.     and the structure of the pedigree is determined by specifying
  7.     the ID's of parents where relevant. Only the last three digits
  8.     of the ID will be displayed in the pedigree diagram, and the
  9.     rest of the ID may refer e.g. to family number <DATA>. The
  10.     shading is determined by the diagnosis code. <DATADAT -patterns>.
  11.     If 100 is added to this code the individual is marked as dead.
  12.     When adding or editing a member, press F10 when the information
  13.     is complete, or Esc to cancel the operation. Promoting and
  14.     demoting members moves them to the start or end of the list of
  15.     pedigree members, controlling the way the pedigree will be
  16.     displayed (for further information see the section explaining
  17.     the algorithm used) <ALGORITH>.
